Aphrodite Art is an organisation founded by Karen Brookman, an artist and educator based in Liverpool and working throughout North West England. We bring together a working knowledge of art and photography together with teaching experience to deliver creative workshops, courses and events for socially excluded groups and vulnerable people in the community such as:


- Children and adults with learning difficulties
- People with mental health issues
- People with physical disabilities

We also work with schools and adult learning centres to provide more educational based sessions.

Our art and photography sales help support community arts projects, and work has included:

- Commissions for cd artwork & website content
- Photographic supplies for corporate gifts
- Working with interior designers to provide artwork & photography

Aphrodite Art's work is exhibited throughout the North West, but is sold locally and internationally.

Emerging from a background of art, education and business management, Aphrodite Art provides sustainable opportunities for excluded groups in the community to socialise, access and enjoy the arts. All services offered promote wellbeing, raise self-esteem and enable a sense of achievement for all.
